Welcome to my blog. It’s all about life and love and reality. Our life’s not perfect, but we love it. If you want to learn a bit more about us, keep reading!
I love coffee, chocolate, and diet coke.
I love food and trying new recipes is one of my favorite things. I want to learn cake decorating and how to make fancy pastries.
I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and designed surgical devices for a while before quitting to pursue photography.
My husband used to be a cop. Our first real conversation was when he showed up on my doorstep with an arrest warrant for my neighbor. He almost fell off the deck when I answered the door.
My husband is the one who encouraged me to go after my dreams, even when everyone else (myself included) thought it was crazy.
He is a dreamer, I am a realist. We balance well. Most of the time.
I love to travel. France, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, India, Scotland, and the Bahamas have been a few of my destinations in past years. I want to see everything!
I left part of my heart in India.
As a kid, we lived in California for a few years and I was the little girl with a southern accent. They thought I was so cute. Or a freak. One or the other.
The beach is my favorite place to go to get away from it all. Give me some sand, sun, and waves and I’m a happy girl.
I learned to surf a couple years ago. “Learned” might be a bit of an exaggeration.
I love spring and I love flowers. I am on a mission to plant something that will flower in my yard all year round. So far, I’ve failed.
After 2 years of applying, my husband finally got into law school. He started school one month before our first baby was born. He worked really hard for 3 years to graduate, we had another baby in his final semester of school. He graduated and studied for the BAR for 2 months and took the exam. He missed passing by 6 points.
Now he’s studying again, and will re-take the BAR at the end of February 2014. I am counting down the days.
